Terms & Conditions
Effective date: November 30th, 2025
Welcome to Modern Haus (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, services, and any content we make available (collectively, the “Site”).
By accessing or using this Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
WHO WE ARE
Modern Haus is owned and operated by Emily McNally, Pediatric and Family Registered Dietitian. We provide nutrition education, resources, and virtual nutrition counseling for families, parents, and caregivers, in the locations where Emily is appropriately licensed and authorized to practice.
ELIGIBILITY
This Site is intended for individuals who are at least 18 years old.
Because our services are focused on children and families, parents and legal guardians are the primary clients. By using this Site or working with us, you represent that you are:
At least 18 years of age, and
The parent or legal guardian of any minor child whose information you share with us, or that you have appropriate legal authority to do so.
INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY (NOT MEDICAL ADVICE)
The information on this Site, including blog posts, emails, social media content, downloads, and any other resources, is for general educational and informational purposes only.
It is not medical advice, individual nutrition counseling, or a substitute for care from your physician, pediatrician, or other healthcare provider.
Viewing or using this Site does not create a dietitian–client or provider–patient relationship with Emily or Modern Haus.
You should always consult your child’s healthcare team before making any medical or significant nutrition changes, especially if there are underlying medical conditions.
If you have an emergency or urgent health concern, call 911 or your local emergency services immediately. Do not use this Site for urgent or emergency needs.
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES & ONLINE COUNSELING
We may offer 1:1 nutrition counseling, coaching memberships, and related services via secure telehealth platforms or other approved systems.
These services are governed by additional consent forms, practice policies, and agreements that you must review and sign before becoming a client.
Services may only be provided in states or regions where Emily is licensed or otherwise permitted to practice.
We reserve the right to decline or discontinue services if it is not clinically appropriate, not within our scope, or outside our licensure.
Nothing on this Site guarantees that you will become a client or that a specific outcome will occur.
INSURANCE, FAY, AND PAYMENT
We may partner with third-party platforms such as Fay to help eligible clients use insurance benefits for nutrition services.
Coverage is not guaranteed and depends on your specific insurance plan.
You are ultimately responsible for understanding your benefits and for any fees not covered by insurance.
If you choose to self-pay, you agree to pay the rates listed on the Site or in your service agreement at the time of booking.
We reserve the right to update our fees, membership pricing, and payment policies at any time. Changes will apply to future services, not services that have already been rendered and paid for.
CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING
Details about cancellations, rescheduling, and late/no-show policies will be included in your client forms and service agreements. By booking an appointment or purchasing a membership, you agree to follow those policies.
We reserve the right to charge cancellation or no-show fees in accordance with those policies.

If you submit information to us through forms, email, comments, or other channels (including testimonials or feedback), you agree that:
You are the owner of that content or have the right to share it.
We may store and use that information to provide services, respond to your inquiry, improve our Site, or feature anonymized feedback or testimonials (with your consent where required).
Please do not submit confidential health information through unsecured forms or email unless explicitly requested or provided through a secure system.
